Modern Studio Shoot with Taylor
Taylor | Class of 2020 | John F. Kennedy Catholic School
Taylor had some great ideas for her session and wanted something modern yet different. We went with an editorial style studio shoot in the end, and I couldn’t have loved it more! Her session is as nontraditional as they come and really allowed her personal style and personality to shine through.
that dreamy light
We used a natural light studio with massive windows letting in that dreamy, warm light and pieces that Taylor brought to truly accentuate her style. She had creative control over each setup and I fell in love with the minimalist, yet cozy, vibe.
sparkle
I’ll be completely transparent, when Taylor first showed me these sequin pieces, I was so stoked! Then unsure. There were endless possibilities, but I wanted to be sure they didn’t overpower Taylor as the focal point. As it turns out, there was no need to be unsure. Taylor commanded the viewer’s attention with every image no matter the backdrop. She is such a natural and so humble about how stunning she is.
bold and editorial or soft and romantic
The red dress. For this last look, ANP’s amazing stylist Katie joined us to switch up the look. The variety we created with this dress is among my all-time favorites! The mood is so diverse. I had a vision that likely sounded crazy at first (which is totally normal for me). I am picturing the final image as I go through the creative process, so it’s not always clear to everyone else! I’m so grateful that Taylor trusted my vision and totally brought it for the bold, editorial vibe as well as the soft, romantic mood.
Inner beauty meets outer beauty is the perfect description for Taylor.
