Madison | Class of 2020 | Howland High School
Madison’ senior session was so much fun! She is a complete natural in front of the camera. She’s confident, knows her angles, and easily moves through poses! Basically a photographer’s dream. We literally ran around the city finding the most photo worthy spots.
Variety
For Madison’s session, we focused on variety in locations and looks. Each spot had it’s own drama and we seemed to get yelled at a lot! But I stand by the saying, “ask for forgiveness, not permission” especially when shooting! We got yelled at by a police officer for getting too close to the fountain (even though I usually see kids running through it) and by a store worker for sitting near their flowers. We didn’t get yelled at for boosting her onto an old post
hair & makeup
It was HOT out this day. I think every time I shoot with a senior in Pittsburgh it’s like 90º or more. My hair and makeup team is awesome at what they do but nothing can withstand that heat & humidity completely. Madison looked flawless the entire time and changed up her hair with each outfit which I love!
Pittsburgh
I have soooo many favorite spots in the city. No two senior sessions are the same but the one thing that does remain constant is the yellow bridges! There’s just something about them I love. Each one varies in color and detail. My favorite one has been under construction for the past year but I’ve grown to adore the tones and details in this one just as much.
I’m so happy Madison joined us this year on the Ashley Nicolle Ambassador team! I hope the experience was a highlight among your year!
