After incredibly long winters, Ohio welcomes fresh blooms in the spring like we’ve never seen flowers before. Spring weather is ideal for just about everything but I’m partial to those summery dresses or layering cute jackets without sweating all your makeup off.

boho + casual

Spring might just be the most underrated season we have in Ohio. Probably because it lasts about 5 minutes, but just look at those gorgeous colors! Sophia did such an awesome job planning out her outfits. I have to give a quick shoutout to Altar’d State for the awesome, boho, casual vibe that perfectly complimented her spring senior session.

I obsessed over this dress the whole shoot and then went to the store a few days later to get one myself! I had zero luck but if they get a restock, Sophia and I will be twinning this summer 🙂 It has the perfect combination of structure and flow.

accessories

The end of shoot is always the best. I don’t know why. Comfortability, I guess. Save your favorite outfits for 2nd or 3rd for that exact reason. Another suggestion: step outside your comfort zone and add fun accessories like the hat pictured below. Sophia went for it and we obsessed over these! Adding something a little extra gives your photos more variety and showcases more of your personality!

Sophia is one of the kindest, most genuinely positive people you will ever meet. Her brother says, “she oozes happiness” and I would absolutely agree! I adore your spirit and I’m so honored to have you on the ANP team 🙂
